Graphic Novel Submissions

Comics are awesome, and you’re awesome for creating one! We love to read your submissions and we thank you for considering Black Panel Press to publish your graphic novel. We’ve been in business since 2017 and distribute our titles worldwide through Diamond Comic Distributors, and digitally through Amazon & Comixology. We take pride in paying our creators higher than average royalties where you maintain ownership of the copyright.

Although we do our best to review every submission, due to the volume we receive, we may be unable to answer every one.

A few general guidelines:

• We do not publish superhero stories.
• We primarily publish graphic novels of 60+ pages, but are also open to single-issue comics.
• We do not coordinate projects between writers and illustrators. Your team should already be assembled before submitting a project to us.
•  Your project must have at least ten illustrated pages (preferably in color, if applicable) to be considered.
• Completed works will have preference over partially-completed ones.
• We will consider works in any language but preference will be given to works available in English, French, or Portuguese.
• Sorry, we do not accept mailed submissions due to the editor’s tiny apartment that’s already full of comics. They will be discarded.
• Please provide the complete work in PDF format if available.
• Please ensure the file is accessible and the link does not expire.
